Ruthe Sperzel

CHESHIRE - Ruthe Behler Sperzel, 91, passed away Saturday at her home that she and her husband built in the 1950's. She was the widow of Bob Sperzel.

Ruthe was born in New Haven the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Horlacher) Behler. She was a gregarious woman, who loved visits with neighbors and friends. She was a gifted artist who drew incredibly beautiful cards for holidays, birthdays and "just because", sending them to the many she cared about. Bright, kind, fun and spirited, Ruthe touched lots of lives, leaving many who cherished their time with her.

Ruthe is survived by her sister-in-law Ann Behler; many nieces and nephews; as well as her dear friends Anita Linsley and Pam Euerle.

Arrangements - A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday August 18, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the church she attended, the First Congregational Church of Cheshire, 111 Church Dr. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours.
