Ruth Ursula Ream
Ruth Ursula Ream, age 92, a lifelong Waterbury resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Wolcott View Manor. She was born on October 3, 1924 in Waterbury, the loving daughter of the late William Jerome and Lucille Elizabeth (Rubas) Ream.
Ms. Ream was a Wilby High School graduate and dedicated to her work at CT Light and Power, where she worked for many years as a secretary until her retirement. Ruth was very active in outdoor sports, to include downhill skiing, especially at Mad River Glen in Vermont. She was a voracious reader and skilled at needlepoint and needlework projects on canvas.
Ruth is survived by her many cherished cousins that will all miss her dearly.
Her services will be held privately and at the convenience of her family. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury has been entrusted with her care.
