Ruth Spring

WOLCOTT - Ruth Spring, 81, passed away Thursday October 18, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late John A. Spring who passed away in 2009.

Mrs. Spring was born April 21, 1931 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Allan and Sadie (Chase) Elliott. She was a longtime Wolcott resident where she was active at the Wolcott Senior Center. She was a member of the Gateway Bible Church in Oakville.

Mrs. Spring is survived by her son Kenneth of Novato, CA; her daughters Linda Langlois of Santa Rosa, CA and Sandra Mercier of Terryville; her brothers Allan Elliott of Hillside, IL and Gordon Elliott of Oakville; her sister Joyce Galvin of Waterbury; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sister Muriel Clarke.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Monday October 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday morning at 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
