Ruth (Altman) Schrauf, age 94, of Cheshire entered into rest on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at CT Hospice in Branford. She was the devoted wife of the late Bernerd Nelson Schrauf. Ruth was born on June 26, 1922 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Burke and Doris Altman.
She owned a hobby store in Stamford, Quest for Handcrafts, and was a loving mother and grandmother.
Ruth's services will be private and at the convenience of her family. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire has been entrusted with her care.
