Ruth Boyd Mott

Ruth Boyd Mott, 95, of Oxford, CT, and previously of Sidney, NY, beloved wife of the late Charlie Mott, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2022. Ruth was born on October 21, 1926 in Troy, NY to the late Henry and Beatrice Boyd.

Ruth was a receptionist with Bendrix and Guilder Medical Group, both in NY. She retired from Fawn Hollow School in Monroe, CT. Ruth attended services at the Seymour Evangelical Church and helped with the soup kitchen in Seymour and Naugatuck. She was a member of the Oxford Garden Club and Oxford Senior Center.

Ruth leaves behind her children, Thomas B. (Lynn) Mott, Sue A. (Ronald) Prillwitz and Zoe L. Backus; 6 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 1 great, great granddaughter.
