CHESHIRE- Ruth (Mills) Hamilton, 80, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of William Hamilton who passed away in 2005.
She was born February 3, 1933 in Hartford daughter of the late Philip and Laura (Whitehouse) Mills.
Ruth was a graduate of Crosby High School. She was a Manager for the State of Connecticut Labor Department prior to her retirement. Ruth was a communicant of St. Bridget Church. In her free time she loved to travel, and was an avid Bridge Player.
Ruth is survived by two daughters Renee and her husband Gary Zimmitti of Cheshire, and Lori and her husband John Frasco of Prospect; a sister Phyllis Bruce of Wolcott; three grandchildren Jennifer and her husband Parick Duffy III, Greg Caldwell, and Johnny Frasco III; two great grandchildren Patrick Duffy IV, and Shawn Duffy; a niece Cathe Sherman, a nephew Deane Bruce; and her cat Mr. George. She was predeceased by her brother Harold Mills.
Arrangements- Her funeral will be held 11 A.M Wednesday December 4, 2013 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 and proceed to St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St, Cheshire, 06410 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held the morning of the funeral at the funeral home from 10 A.M until the precession leaves for church.
