Ruth Alderson

CHESHIRE - Ruth Alderson, 90, of Cheshire and formerly of Middlebury, passed away Monday April 28, 2014 at Elim Park Baptist Home. She was the wife of the late Idris R. Alderson who passed away in 2000.

Mrs. Alderson was born July 6, 1923 in Waterbury, the daughter of John and Mary (Banslaben) Noyes. She was educated in local schools and graduated from Wilby High School. She was the Office Manager for Alderson Funeral Homes for over 40 years before her retirement in 1988. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Science of Boston.

Arrangements - A private graveside services was held in Riverside Cemetery in Waterbury and there were no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
