Roy Samuelson

WATERBURY - Roy L. Samuelson, 78, passed away Thursday September 1, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Vita (Lucian) (Darley) Samuelson.

Mr. Samuelson was born June 10, 1933 in Bristol the son of the late Alfred and Marguerite (Blodgett) Samuelson. He attended Bristol schools and had been a Waterbury resident for many years. He was an Air force Veteran and had worked at Reidville Tool for many years.

Besides his wife, Mr. Samuelson is survived by his children Scott Samuelson of New York, Georgia Cole, Gerry Kilmer and Diana Samuelson of Plainville; as well as his step children Derek Darley of Waterbury and Donna Darley of Cheshire.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2011 at 12 noon at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the start of the service.
