Rose marie Normandy

CHESHIRE – Rose marie (Raymond) Normandy, 78, passed away Sunday February 22, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Frank E. Normandy, who passed away in 2013.

Mrs. Normandy was born February 7, 1937 in Island Falls, ME the daughter of the late Patrick and Claudia (King) Raymond. She was a longtime Cheshire resident where she worked at Airpax Instruments.

Mrs. Normandy is survived by her son Mark Normandy and his wife Debra of Wolcott; her four daughters Donna Murphy and her husband Mark of Waterbury, Laurene D'Amico and her husband Marc of Plainville, Linda Mahoney of Cheshire, Marie Malis and her husband Keith of Cheshire; her grandchildren Melissa Murphy (Walter Schweitzer), Coleen (Milton) Makoski, Meghan Murphy (Thomas Martelli), Mark, Kurt, and Steve Normandy, Anthony and Angela D’Amico, Tyler and Zakary Mahoney, and Ashleigh Battle; her great grandchild Kaden Murphy Schweitzer; her siblings Laura Monti of Waterbury, Anita Plourde of Naugatuck, Patrick Raymond of Waterbury, and Gilbert Raymond of Palm Coast , FL as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Mrs. Normandy is predeceased by her son-in-law Tim Mahoney.

Arrangements – A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday February 26, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 50 Charles Street, Waterbury. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be held in the spring in All Saints Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S.
