CHESHIRE- Rosalie Piller, beloved daughter of the late George and Ruth (Keating) Piller of Cheshire, passed away on January 16, 2021 at the Cheshire Regional Rehab Center.
Rosalie was born on March 16, 1936 in Hartford. After graduating from Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury, Class of 1954, she moved to Cheshire and was a resident until her passing. Rosalie was a devout member of the former Church of the Epiphany in Cheshire from its inception in 1967 until its closing in 2017. She was also an active member of the Cheshire Grange, and was appointed Secretary for many years.
Rosalie loved animals, especially her pet dogs. Her cocker spaniel, Katie, was her companion and brought her much joy. She loved to take walks around the Mixville Park neighborhood and made many friends along the way. She enjoyed stopping to chat with her neighbors and loved watching all her “kids” in the neighborhood grow up. Rosalie had a big heart. She will be greatly missed by all.
