WATERBURY- Mrs. Rosa Amalia (Roldan) Cancel, 56 of 42 Pine St., Waterbury, died Saturday July 4, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital.
Ms. Cancel was born in Mayaquez, Puerto Rico on Oct. 6, 1952, a daughter of the late Ramon Cancel Roldan and Amalia Martinez and had been a Waterbury resident for the past 10 years, moving here from New York City.
She leaves 3 sons, Harry Ramirez of Vernon, Frederick Ramirez and Raymond Cancel both of Waterbury; 3 daughters, Luz Amelia Quilen of Florida, Michelle Yanria Escalera of Florida and Maricella Cancel of Waterbury; one brother Edwin Cancel of Bronx, NY; one sister Taty Amalia Cancel of Puerto Rico and 13 grandchildren.
All services will be a the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. is in charge of arrangements
