Cheshire – Ronald P. Regnery, 69, passed away Monday, June 15, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Valerie (Franz) Regnery.
Ronald was born July 14, 1946 in Bridgeport, the son of the late Robert and Teresa (Janulis) Regnery. He was a retired, long-time employee of Sears and was a communicant of St. Bridget Church. Formerly, Ronald served as Justice of the Peace and while working with the Cheshire Democratic Town Committee ran for election with the Planning and Zoning Commission.
In addition to his wife of 49 years, Ronald is survived by his son, Ronald Regnery, of Richmond, Va., and his daughter Melissa Regnery of Cheshire. He will also be missed by his three grandchildren, Cameron and Colin Regnery, and Nickolas Bensavage.
Arrangements- Funeral services for Mr. Regnery will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016, at 11:00 A.M., at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire, 06410. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, 2324 East Main Street, Waterbury. There are no calling hours, and The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 South Main St., Cheshire, is in charge of arrangements.
