NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Maria Augusta Pina Rodrigues, 88, of 79 Scott St., died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at her home. She was the widow of Francisco Rodrigues.

Mrs. Rodrigues was born Sept. 26, 1921, in Portugal, a daughter of the late Joaquim Dionisio and Angelina Pina. She was retired from the Timex Corporation and was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Waterbury.

Mrs. Rodrigues is survived by four sons, Adelino Rodrigues of Orlando, Fla., Armando Rodrigues of Naugatuck, Manuel Rodrigues of Cheshire, and Alipio "Al" DaSilva of Naugatuck; a daughter, Luiza Rodrigues of Naugatuck; six grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters.

The funeral will be held 9:15 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin St., Waterbury, for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m.

As per Mrs. Rodrigues' final wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin St., Waterbury 06706.
