Robert J. "Rob" Hickok, Jr.

Robert James “Rob” Hickok, Jr., age 76, of Cheshire passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his home. He was the devoted husband of Casey M. Hickok for over 30 years. Rob was born on March 14, 1945 in New Bedford, MA, son of the late Helen and Robert J. Hickok, Sr.

Rob was raised in the Mystic/Groton area. He served his country with honor and pride with the US Navy and worked as a construction contractor. Rob enjoyed antiquing and skeet shooting. He was an advanced diver and scuba diving instructor in the beautiful Florida Keys where he and Casey shared many wonderful years together.

He is the beloved father of Christopher Hickok of CA; stepfather of Elaine LeClair of Guilford, Lisa DePecol of Durham and Marlene DePecol of W. Hartford; he also leaves 2 cherished grandchildren. Rob was predeceased by his son, Eric Hickok.
