Robert "Bobby" Drown

NAUGATUCK- Robert “Bobby” Fred Drown Jr., 59, passed away Monday April 8, 2019 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was the fiancé of Debbie Calzone.

Bobby was born September 1, 1959, in Waterbury a son of Robert Fred Drown Sr. and Phoebe (Ostrom) Drown.

Bobby who was known for his hard work ethic was a Heavy Equipment Operator in the Contracting Industry prior to his illness. In his free time, Bobby loved fishing, boating, tag sales, and above all spending time with his adoring nieces and nephews who he loved to help in any way he could. He was a member of both the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Polish American Club of Naugatuck.

Besides his fiancé and parents, Bobby is survived by a daughter Rachelle Drown; his siblings Roger and his wife Susan J. Drown, David and his wife Wendy Drown, and Eric Drown all of Naugatuck; his sister-in-law Susan L. Drown of Naugatuck; and countless nieces and nephews. His was predeceased by his brother Rodney Drown.

Arrangements- Funeral for Bobby will be held on Friday April 12, 2019 at 11 am at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Visitation will be held from 10am until the start of the service at 11. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
