Robert Beaulieu

HAMDEN - Robert C. Beaulieu, 80, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford.

Mr. Beaulieu was born January 30, 1933 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Charles and the late Eleanor (Schwartz) Beaulieu. He served our country in the U.S. Army for several years. Bob raised his family in Cheshire before moving to Hamden 30 years ago.

Bob thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors especially Skiing and Bicycling. He was a salesman for the automotive industry for several years before retiring from Acura Of Milford in 2008.

He is survived by his son Dean Beaulieu; his daughters, Laurel Beaulieu and Sherry Beaulieu and her husband Fred, all of Wasilla Alaska. Also, his step daughter Roberta Davenport and her husband Jeff of Southington CT; four grandchildren Heather, Cristy, Kayla and Kyle, and his four great grandchildren Caiden, Dawson, Bella and Kamilah. Besides his wife Jo-Ann DeLeonardo, Mr. Beaulieu is predeceased by his son Timothy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 17, 2013 at 11am at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 59 Main St., Cheshire. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Beaverdale Memorial Park in New Haven and there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Lung Association, 45 Ash St., East Hartford, CT 06108. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
