Robert Baranauskas

WATERBURY- Robert James Baranauskas, 70, passed away Thursday September 20, 2012 at his residence. He was the husband of Beth (Sheehy) Baranauskas.

He was born February 25, 1942 in Waterbury, and was the son of the late Joseph and Estelle (Behr) Baranauskas.

Robert was a veteran serving in the United States Army, and spent his career working for Bar-Work Mfg. Co.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert John and his wife Sara Baranauskas of Torrington; two daughters, Lisa, and her husband Steven Lopez of Waterbury, and Cathy Jenkins of Cheshire; two brothers, Joseph Baranauskas of Waterbury, and David and his wife Mary Baranauskas of Prospect; two sisters, Patty and her husband Larry Hotham of Southington, and Joanne and her husband Pat Auteri of Wolcott; a granddaughter, Alexis Taylor Baranauskas ; and thirteen nieces and nephews.

Arrangements- Robert's funeral will be held Monday September 24, 2012 9:15 A.M from the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710 to Blessed Sacrament Church, 182 Robbins St, Waterbury, 06708 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. Burial with Military Honors will follow at All Saints Cemetery, 203 Spring Lake Road, Waterbury, 06706. Calling hours will be held Sunday September 23, 2012 from 2 to 5 P.M at the funeral home.
