CHESHIRE- Rita A. Jannetty, 85, passed away Thursday December 15, 2016 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. She was the loving wife of Louis Francis Jannetty whom she was married to for 65 years.
She was born July 14, 1931 in Waterbury daughter of the late Ernest and his wife Delia (Ryan) Parmelee.
Mrs. Jannetty was the President of the Lou/Jan Tool Die Company that her and her husband founded prior to her retirement. Rita will always be known for her passion of Dancing, she auditioned to be a Rockette in New York City where she was accepted. Above all her priority was spending time with her family, and friends.
Besides her husband she is survived by three sons Louis and his wife Maricris Jannetty of Cheshire, Michael and his wife Janice Jannetty of Naples, ME, and Vincent and Darla Jannetty of Cocoa Beach, FL; two daughters Kathy and her husband Paul Struble of Cumberland, RI, and Suzanne and her husband David MacLellan of Greenville, RI; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Rita was predeceased by her sister Eileen Parmelee.
Arrangements- Calling hours for Mrs. Jannetty will be held 9 A.M, Tuesday December, 20, 2016 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, 06410, until Rita’s procession leaves for a 11 A.M Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Epiphany, 1750 Huckins Road, Cheshire, 06410. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Road, Cheshire.
