Richard Cross

CHESHIRE - Richard Cross, 91, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Masonicare in Wallingford. He was the husband of the late Lorranine (Marois) Cross who passed away in 2011.

Mr. Cross was born July 28, 1926 in Berlin, NH, the son of the late Wesley and Bertha Cross. He was an Electrical Engineer and a longtime Cheshire resident. He was an avid bridge player and was known as a great golfer, golfing from a very young age through his 89th year.

Mr. Cross is survived by his daughters Susan Robbie and her husband William of Braselton, GA and Nancy Cross of Woodbridge; his son Richard D. Cross of Cheshire; his brothers Alan Cross of FL and Donald Cross of NC; his two grandchildren and his two great grandchildren. Besides his wife and his parents, Mr. Cross is predeceased by his son John as well as his brother John.

Arrangements – Funerals service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
