Waterbury - Richard Adamson, 90 passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at The Village at East Farms. He was the Husband of the late Beatrice Adamson.

Mr. Adamson was born December 14, 1933, in Waterbury, the son of the late Bertel and Alice (Colby) Adamson. He was raised in Waterbury, graduating from Crosby High School. He married in 1960 and resided in Sarasota, FL for a brief period before moving back to Connecticut settling in Cheshire. He was employed by several organizations in the data processing field, retiring as Vice-President from the Savings Bank of Ansonia. Over the years, he loved to travel with his wife throughout the United States and abroad. He was a big fan of UCONN basketball and the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play basketball during their high school and college years.

Mr. Adamson is survived by his children Scott Adamson and his wife Lisa, Sandy Briere and her husband Rick, Sue Palladino and her husband Rich; his grandchildren Marissa Berglund and her husband Ryan, and Kayla Fennell and her husband Brandon; his great-grandchildren Raegan Fennell and Levi Berglund; his sisters Carolyn Edquist and her husband Carl, and Linda Hickox; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements – Funeral service and committal will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Bridget Cemetery and there will be no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
