Rhoda Mattoon

Rhoda E. Mattoon, 93 of Highland Ave, passed away Tuesday May 12, 2009 at St .Mary's Hospital from a brief illness.

Rhoda was born in Cheshire on March 30, 1916. She was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Kate J. (Munson) Mattoon. Rhoda was an inspector for the former Eyelet Specialty Co. in Waterbury for 35 years until her retirement in 1981.She was a lifelong resident of Cheshire and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by 3 cousins Henry Toepke of Cheshire, Marilyn Mattoon of Plymouth and Marilyn Camp of Southington .Besides her parents, Rhoda is predeceased by one brother Myron M. Mattoon.

Arrangements; Funeral services for Rhoda will be private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The Slater Funeral Home 242 So.
