Raymond Joseph Plourde

CHESHIRE- Raymond Joseph Plourde, died suddenly at his home on April 3rd. He was 43 years old. Raymond was the husband of Kelly Sheehan Plourde and loving father of Kaylie Lynn Plourde. He leaves behind his mother, Nancy and her husband Peter Lombardo of Cheshire. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Plourde.

Raymond also leaves a sister, Raelynn Plourde of Watertown, an uncle, Doug Schlink and an aunt, Norma Ginz.

Raymond loved his family, especially his daughter, and put them above all else. He was a loyal friend and once was able to save the life of one of his friends by performing the Heimlich maneuver. When not devoting time to his family and friends, he enjoyed fishing, repairing BMX bicycles, building bird houses, listening to music and cooking.

Raymond was employed by Lyon and Billard and Southern Connecticut State University before being restricted by health issues.

Raymond was loving and kind, always thinking of others, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Arrangements- Calling hours for Mr. Plourde will be held from 2 to 4 P.M, Saturday, April 6, 2019 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
