Oakville, CT Krista Anne Ranaudo, 37, passed away on December 2, 2020 at home.

Krista was born on October 24, 1983 in Waterbury, CT, daughter of Gregory Ranaudo and the late Ilona (Mueller) Ranaudo. Krista was raised in Oakville, graduating from Watertown High School in 2001. She went on to earn her associates degree in Dental Assisting from Tunxis Community College.

Krista loved the beach and particularly liked vacationing in Rhode Island and Cape Cod. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her friends and family, especially her three nephews.

In addition to her father, Gregory Ranaudo of Oakville, Krista is survived by her two sisters; Victoria Ranaudo of Torrington and Lisa Maki and her husband Pete of Durham, NC, three nephews; William, Cal and Lyle Maki, several aunts, uncles, cousins and her two beloved cats Smokey & Bandit.

All services will be private and there are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. In lieu of flowers, and to honor Krista’s memory, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue Foundation, 366 Main Street, Terryville, CT 06786.
