Adelaide Praleikas
Waterbury-Adelaide (Marques, Dos Santos) Praleikas, 79, of 30 West Main Street, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital with her loving family at her side.
Mrs. Praleikas was born on May 21, 1931 in Naugatuck a daughter of the late John and Lena DosSantos. She was a former employee of the Naugatuck Glass Co. and a communicant of St. Francis Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and doing arts and crafts.
She is survived by three sons, John Praleikas and his wife Wendy of Waterbury, David Praleikas of Naugatuck and Daniel Praleikas of Texas, one daughter, Valerie Beck and her husband James of FL, two sisters, Alice Ramos of Naugatuck and Eva Hailey of VA, six grandchildren, Stephen, Shelby, Kelly, Wayne, Ryan and Nathan and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one son, Leonard Praleikas.
Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
