Paul Plocha

Naugatuck, CT Paul Plocha, 64, husband of Joseph Owens, died
unexpectedly on December 8, 2022 at Complete Care at Glendale Center
in Naugatuck.

Paul was born February 9, 1958 in Waterbury, CT a son of the late
Edward Francis Plocha and Nila Juliana (Novak) Plocha. Paul lived in
Naugatuck all of his life and graduated from Naugatuck High School,
Class of 1976. Paul went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern
Connecticut State University and he worked as an accounting associate
at PEZ Candy, Inc. in Orange, CT for over 20 years.

In addition to his husband Joe, Paul is survived by his brother and sister
in law, Edward Michael Plocha and Janice Plocha of Thomaston, CT;
his sister, Nila Felicia Plocha of Old Saybrook, CT; his niece, Christine
Plocha and his great niece and great nephew.
In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his sister, Luanna
Plocha.

Family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Paul’s life on
Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Buckmiller
Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers and to honor Paul’s memory,
