Louis Pisani, 72, beloved husband of Linda Pisani, died peacefully on January 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, after battling a courageous fight with cancer.
“Lou” grew up in Naugatuck, Connecticut and graduated from Naugatuck High School. There, he played football and for the infamous baseball team that boasted a nationally renowned 64-game winning streak. Lou went on to earn his associates degree and used his natural social personality throughout his lifelong career as an industrial chemical sales consultant.
He married the love of his life, Linda, just a few short months after they met. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year with their children and grandchildren in the white mountains of New Hampshire.
Known for his devilish smile, twinkle in his eye, heart of gold, and willful spirit, Lou loved telling stories and making people laugh. He made an impression on and befriended everyone he met. To relax, he spent time tending to his gardens, birdwatching, visiting local breweries and restaurants, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and following New England sports teams.
Lou cherished time with family including taking drives to northwest Connecticut, fishing on the Housatonic River, listening to music on his porch, and eating holiday meals together.
Lou is now reunited with his loving son Damon Pisani, who predeceased him in 2018. He is also predeceased by his parents Joseph and Evelyn Pisani, and his sister Christine Taylor.
In addition to his wife Linda, his love and laughter will live on through his daughter Shannon Pisani, her husband Brant Bivens, and their children Nathan and Aubrie; his daughter-in-law Katrina Pisani (Damon Pisani), and their children Makena and Kai; his daughter Rebecca and her children Hannah, Matthew, and Mason; his brother Larry Pisani and his wife Lori; and countless cousins, nieces, nephews, as well as lifelong and new friends.
A celebration of life is being planned.
