West Haven, CT Beverly Pichulo, 76, died December 25, 2023 at her home. Beverly was the widow of Lawrence L. Pichulo, whom she was married to for 33 years.
Beverly was born on March 15, 1947 in Bridgeport, CT a daughter of the late John and Mildred (Smith) Makara. She was raised in Stratford, CT and moved to Naugatuck, where she was a longtime resident. Beverly worked for 24 years at Wal-Mart, before retiring in 2000. She was avid about crocheting and was always working on something and she loved to serve God as a parishioner of St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Naugatuck.
Beverly is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Jonathan and Paula Tuma and Jason and Francesca Tuma, her grandchildren, Felicity Tuma, Bailey Tuma and Holden Tuma; her sister and brother in law, Joan and Peter Carroll.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck. Everyone attending is kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. In lieu of flowers and to honor Beverly’s memory, donations are requested to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
