CHESHIRE- Philip Louis Suffredini, 62, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 20, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Suffredini was born October 9, 1953 in New Haven, son of the late Romeo and Susan (Perrotti) Suffredini.
Philip was a graduate of Cheshire High School, and earned five Masters Degree's at various colleges. He was Professor at numerous colleges, and a Karate expert where he earned his 3rd degree Black Belt.
Mr. Suffredini is survived by his cousin Frank and his wife Christine Longo of Waterbury and their children Jessica, Martin, Beth, and Frank Longo, and grandchildren Gianna and Mia; three aunts Natalie Laudisi of Waterbury, Lillian Cialfi of Waterbury, and Dolores and her husband George Hajjar of Waterbury; and several cousins. Philip was predeceased by his aunts and uncles, Eva (Suffredini) and her husband Joseph M. Longo, Fred Laudisi, Daniel Cialfi, and Joseph "Al" and his wife Carmela Bucci.
Arrangements- Philip's funeral will start 10:15 A.M Friday February 26, 2016, from The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, 06410 and proceed to St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire, 06410, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Road, Cheshire. Calling hours will be held the morning of the funeral from 9:30 A.M until the procession leaves for church, at the funeral home. Donations in Philip's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
