BETHLEHEM — A memorial service to celebrate the life of William G. Petitjean Sr. (born May 29, 1917) will be held at 11 a.m., Oct. 2, 2010, at Christ Church, Bethlehem, Conn.
William died on Sunday, July 25, 2010, at Beacon Brook Health Center, Naugatuck, at the age of 93. He was predeceased by his first wife, Eleanor Dillon Petitjean, and his second wife, Rita Moran Rossi Petitjean.
William is survived by a daughter, Gwen Bartok and her husband Joseph, of Bristol, Conn.; a daughter, Linda Grenfell and her husband Gary, of Bethlehem, Conn.; a son, William G. Petitjean Jr., of Bethlehem, Conn.; a stepdaughter, Carol Bosco and her husband Peter, of Naugatuck, Conn.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles F. Petitjean of Winston-Salem, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Ruth Petitjean of Simsbury, Conn.; a sister-in-law, Alcea Fager of Plantsville, Conn.; a sister-in-law, Lillian Dillon, of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Robert J. Petitjean and two stepdaughters, Patricia Rossi and Marianne Leuchars.
