Peter "Stanley" Zentek
CHESHIRE – Peter "Stanley" Zentek, 94, passed away Saturday October 25, 2014 at Coccomo Healthcare Center in Meriden.
Mr. Zentek was born August 16, 1920 in Cheshire, the son of the late Paul and Anelia "Nellie" (Jablonski) Zentek. His life's work was on the family farm which he loved and retired from at the age of 90. Stanley had an infectious smile and was a generous, kind man.
He is survived by his sisters Helen Petrowski of Santa Ana, CA, Mary Galko of Prospect and Louise Curry of Wallingford; his brother Paul Zentek of Cheshire; his beloved nephews Paul (his wife Donna) and Michael Zentek of Cheshire; his beloved nieces Jane Paternastro and Joan Chevier of FL, as well as many other cherished nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters Anna Cardo and Stella Behrmann; his brothers Michael, Joseph and Frank Zentek; and his beloved dog, Spotty.
Arrangements – Funerals services will be held Tuesday October 28, 2014, 9:15 from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 8:30 until the funeral procession leaves for church.
