Peter Normand

WATERBURY - Peter G. Normand Jr., 56, passed away Saturday January 15, 2011 at his home.

Mr. Normand was born October 5, 1954 in Waterbury the son of Peter G. Normand Sr. and the late Ruth (Lister) Normand. He was a longtime Waterbury resident who enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Besides his father of Waterbury, Mr. Normand is survived by his sons Peter III of Waterbury and Matthew of Danbury; his former wife Cynthia Normand of Waterbury; his brothers Kenneth R. Normand of Waterbury, Roy S. Normand of Thomaston, Paul M. Normand of Waterbury; his sisters Linda C. Lovejoy of Waterbury, Tina L. Gelinas of Naugatuck, and Tammy L. Crosby of Waterbury; two grandsons and several nieces and nephews. Besides his mother, Mr. Normand is predeceased by his brother Eugene.

Arrangements - A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday January 20, 2011 at 3 p.m. at the Prospect Congregational Church, 25 Center St., Prospect. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 9 Holmes Ave. is assisting with arrangements.
