Peter Cleary

WATERBURY - Peter Cleary, 62, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the VITAS unit at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the son of the late William and Harriet S. (Lee) Cleary Sr.

Mr. Cleary was born April 16, 1953 in Waterbury and was a self-employed painter and a lifelong Waterbury resident.

He is survived by his sister Maureen Cleary of Torrington; his brothers; Michael Cleary and his wife Nancy of Waterbury, Kevin Cleary and his wife Christine of Waterbury, and Patrick Cleary of Delaware. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Peter was predeceased by his brothers; William, Shaun and Brian Cleary and his sisters; Margaret Toruk and Harriet Cleary.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 17, 2015, 9:15 from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, for Mass at 9:30. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 8:15 until the procession leaves for church.
