Patrick J. Fries

Naugatuck - Patrick Fries, 76, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at his home. He was the husband of Betty (Bergeron) Fries.

Mr. Fries was born May 29, 1947, in Waterbury, the son of the late Lincoln and Margaret (Bergin) Fries.  He was educated in local schools and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps., serving as a Seargent and being deployed for two tours in Vietnam.  He was a member of the VFW Post 201 in Waterbury, the American Legion Post 195 in Watertown, and the Disabled American Veterans.

After his Honorable Discharge, he worked as an Ironworker serving as a member of Ironworkers Local No. 15.  He was a member of the Polish American Club, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 640, and the NRA.

Besides his wife of 11 years, he is survived by his sisters Debbie Noreikis, Gayle Terrell, and Peggy Massimo. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his daughter Fawn Fries as well as his grandson Zachery Derry.
