Patricia A. Sienkowski

CHESHIRE- Patricia A. Sienkowski, 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, August 26, 2022 at her home in Cheshire. She was the wife of the late Thomas A. Sienkowski Sr.. 

Mrs. Sienkowski was born July 9, 1935, in Norwich, CT., daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Rygelski) Vitagliano. She was a retired hairdresser and home health aide.

Mrs. Sienkowski leaves behind her son, Thomas Sienkowski Jr., and his wife, Nancy (Simpson) Sienkowski of Cheshire, and her daughter, Andrea Holsworth, and her husband, Ted Holsworth of Prospect. She will also be missed by her son-in law, Brian Klanica and her siblings Roberta (Vitagliano) Connell, Nancy (Vitagliano) Woodmansee, and Thomas Vitagliano. She was the beloved grandmother of Rich and his wife Jackie Sienkowski, Tommy Sienkowski III and Cali McGinn, Krissy and her husband Jordan Dorsey, John Holsworth, Justin Klanica, Allie Holsworth and Josh Blinstrabus, and Ben Klanica. She was the proud great grandmother of Brooke, Caitlin, Gavin, Sloane, James, and Tommy IV. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Sienkowski was predeceased by her infant son, Gerald Jude, her daughter, Connie Klanica, and her grandson, John Holsworth.

Pat loved to make crafts, play cards, and do word searches. She had a large extended family whom she loved deeply and counted many friends as family. Her nieces and nephews along with numerous cousins were a bright spot in her life and she enjoyed cooking and hosting family gatherings. There was always room for one more at her table.

Arrangements: Friends may greet her family at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, on Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the CJK Foundation at www.cjkfoundct.org.
