CHESHIRE- Patricia A. Pennachio, 59, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of Dominic Pennachio.

Mrs. Pennachio was born July 26, 1963, in Levittown N.Y., daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (Eddy) Wittine. Patricia was a versatile and hard worker, having worked many different jobs in different fields. Patricia worked the register at Pathmark in NY in her earlier years, as a paralegal for a mortgage company, as a manager for the food truck “The Popcorn Tree” which was passed down to her from her father and allowed her quality time to work with many family members, as a worker for Hickory Hill Orchards in Cheshire, CT, a waitress at Whitney Donut Sandwich Shop and The Sandwich Shop in Hamden, CT, and finally as a barista at Starbucks Coffee at Quinnipiac University. Patricia also held other jobs working with a diverse set of people, making numerous friendships, and positively impacting environments wherever she went.

Patricia was a kind and helpful woman, and frequently placed other people’s needs before her own. She loved working with other people and making her coworkers laugh. Patricia received many accolades for her work throughout the years and was always so proud of her dedication and investment in working despite her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and eventually cancer. Patricia took immense pride in her work ethic and ability to connect with customers due to her beautiful curly blonde hair, striking blue eyes, and contagious smile. Patricia always tried to keep a smile on her face despite not feeling well or being in pain. She was an incredible and thoughtful mother. She was supportive, considerate, and loyal. She loved her children’s friends like her own.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Pennachio tragically leaves behind her son, Francis Pennachio, and her daughter, Theresa Pennachio. She will also be dearly missed by her sister Deborah Clark and her husband Edward, nieces Kimberly and Melissa Clark, her younger brother Kenneth Wittine, and her many relatives-by-marriage. She will be greatly missed by her husband, children, family and extended family, and the numerous people she worked with at the many jobs she held. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pennachio was predeceased by her older brother, the late Joseph Wittine.
