NAUGATUCK- Patricia “Pat” Blakeley, 86, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Thomas R. Blakeley who predeceased her in 2001.
Mrs. Blakeley was born July 3, 1932 in Stamford, the daughter of the late Herman and Ella May (Ferris) Kaelin. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford. She was employed until retirement at the F.A. Bartlett Tree Expert Company.
Mrs. Blakeley is survived by her daughter Michele Leary Waggner of Fairfield; her grandchildren Matthew (Kim Johnson) and Lauren; her sister Sr. Mary Michele Kaelin CSJ of New Britain; her brother Thomas Kaelin of Florida. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael J. Kaelin.
Arrangements- Mrs. Blakeley’s funeral procession will leave the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 9:15 A.M. and proceed St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Rd., Naugatuck, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. A graveside service will take place on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown. Calling hours for Patricia will be held on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
