NAUGATUCK – Patricia Lombardi, 64, a lifelong Naugatuck resident, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday December 20, 2019 surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.
Patricia was born March 14, 1955, in Waterbury, the daughters of the late Walter and Modest (Czaplicki) Ploski. After graduating from Naugatuck a high School, she attended Post University where she received her Associates Degree. She enjoyed playing the piano and cherished the visits with her daughter and grandchildren. She had the biggest heart and always put everyone else’s needs above her own. Even on days of discomfort she would still manage to crack a joke or offer some sarcasm to the conversation.
Left to cherish her memories and honor her legacy is her daughter Nicole Lombardi of New Jersey; the love of her life, Tom Lombardi of Naugatuck; her grandchildren Victoria, Connor, Hannah and Grace Norton of New Jersey; her friend and caregiver, Barbara Cyr of Naugatuck; her brother Eugene Ploski and his wife Katherine of Torrington; her aunt and uncle Isabel and John Petersen of Beacon Falls; her aunt Jane Listwon of Ansonia as well as many other extended family members and friends.
Her family would like to offer a special thank you the nursing staff at Juniper Homecare, Salute Homecare and Seasons Hospice for the special attention and compassion they gave Patricia, especially on her last days.
