WILLINGTON ­ Patricia B. (Patsy) Fuller, 81, formally of Waterbury, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. She was the wife of the late George Fuller who passed away in 2003.

Mrs. Fuller was born in Waterbury on January 4, 1935, daughter of the late John J. and Catherine (Collins) Barrett. Mrs. Fuller was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School for Girls and St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at St. Mary's and Waterbury Hospitals for many years as a Supervising Registered Nurse in the Maternity Wards. Upon retirement Patsy continued working at various skilled nursing facilities and was most proud to have totaled 50 years as a Registered Nurse, a job she thoroughly enjoyed. She was an avid Bridge player who enjoyed Broadway Musicals and live entertainment. She made several trips to Ireland and spent several summers in Wildwood, NJ.

Her family would like to especially thank Maple View Manor in Rocky Hill and Hartford Hospital for their wonderful compassion and care.

Mrs. Fuller is survived by her sons Michael T. Fuller of Willington and Thomas P. Fuller and his wife Susan of Torrington, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers

John J. Barrett, Jr. and Thomas F. Barrett and two sisters Margaret Greaney and Helen Wiehn.

Arrangements ­ There were no calling hours and a private graveside service was held at St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date. The Alderson­Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck assisted with arrangements. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN
