CHESHIRE- Pamela Peterson Euerle passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth L. Euerle for 52 years.
Pam was born December 16, 1944 in Boston, MA daughter of the late Lewis and Myrbel (Newton) Peterson.
Besides her husband, Kenneth, she is survived by her two daughters: Kathryn Dombrowski and her husband, Allan, of Branford; and Kristen Rayball and her husband, Sean, of Cheshire; and four grandchildren whom she adored: Justin and Lauren Dombrowski, and Connor and Whitney Rayball. Pam is also survived by two brothers Richard Peterson, and William (Maura) Peterson all of Wellesley, MA; and niece, Deborah Brown, of Cheshire, nephew Jeffrey Peterson of MA, and niece Maura Sweeney of MA.
Pam grew up in Wellesley, MA. She was a graduate of Drew University in Madison, NJ where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. Pam spent her career as a Medical Social Worker at Gaylord Hospital where she received the Employee of the Year award in 1998. She was a 40-year member of the First Congregational Church of Cheshire where she was active on many boards and committees. Above all, she will always be remembered as a wonderful mother, amazing grandmother, and devoted wife.
Pam was a woman of deep faith who enjoyed splitting her time between Cheshire, CT and Longboat Key, FL. She will be remembered by all for her wonderful sense of humor and kind and giving nature. She was an amazing light to all who knew her.
All services for Pam Euerle will be held privately. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 is assisting the family with the arrangements.
