WATERBURY- Pamela Jane McMahon, aged 75 passed away on Saturday November, 22, 2014 at Newington Health Care Facility in Newington, CT after a lengthy demise to Alzheimer’s. Pamela was a resident of Waterbury and Southington, Connecticut the past 30 plus years of her life. Pam was born on March 3, 1939 in Spokane, Washington.

Pam was married to the late James P. McMahon for 25 years. She was predeceased by her mother, Adele and a sister Deanne. Pam leaves behind two nephews and four stepdaughters. Her stepdaughters are Lora McMahon and her fiancé James Dubois, Kellie McMahon, Katie (McMahon) Mauriello and her husband Joseph, and Betsy McMahon. Pam also leaves behind a dear lifelong friend, Sybil Burgess of Washington state and two grandchildren, Joey and Matty Mauriello of Bristol, CT.

Pam worked for many years as a bookkeeper at the Moynahan Law Firm in Waterbury, CT. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading and many different crafts. Her knitting was beautiful. She loved her “dinner club” friends and they will attest that she made the BEST eggrolls ever!

The family would like to thank the staff at Newington Health Care for the extraordinary support and care they extended to Pam during her stay. Also would like to acknowledge the staff at Worthington Manor in Berlin where Pam lived for a few years before Newington. A special thank you to Dawn at Worthington; Pam adored you.

Arrangements- According to Pam’s wishes there will be no services. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2075 Silas Deane Hwy #100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
