Patricia Owens
NAUGATUCK – Patricia Owens, 87, wife of the late James Joseph Owens, Jr. passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital with family by her side.
Patricia was born in Fort Riley, Kansas, on Sept. 1, 1930, the daughter of the late Henry and Ruth (Morgan) Alexander.
Patricia grew up in Charleston, S.C. and moved to Naugatuck after her marriage. She enjoyed bingo and spending time with family and friends. She had worked for many years at Naugatuck Glass Company.
She is survived by her son, Joseph L. Owens and husband Paul Plocha; and her daughter, Catherine R. Owens, both of Naugatuck.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
