Naugatuck, CT Catherine R. Owens, 63, died peacefully on July 26, 2020 at Glendale Center.

Catherine was born on March 14, 1957 in Waterbury, CT daughter of the late James Joseph Owens, Jr. and Patricia (Alexander) Owens and had lived in Naugatuck all of her life. Cathy graduated from Naugatuck High School in 1976 and was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Cathy is survived by her brother, Joseph Owens and his husband, Paul Plocha of Naugatuck and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be Friday from 5-7pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Graveside services and burial will be Monday at 10:00am at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck.
