WATERBURY - Elizabeth (Beth) (Creasey) Osborne, passed into eternal rest on April 1, 2011.

Beth was the daughter of the late Hazen I. Creasey and Hope B. Creasey; born in Belfast, Maine, on Feb. 20, 1952. She was the wife of Harry Osborne, recently celebrating 30 years of marriage.

She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Waterbury, now of Plymouth. She was employed as an elderly special needs caretaker for the Department of Mental Retardation at Oak Cliff Nursing Home until her illness.

Beth enjoyed traveling back to Maine yearly to visit family and friends. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and crocheted many lovely afghans and shawls for the patients at the nursing home. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved cats, Mona, Gizmo and Delia.

She is survived by her sister, Susan Boyle of Cheshire; her brothers, Peter Creasey and his wife, Christine, of Oakville and Robin Creasey and his wife, Eva, of Virginia Beach, Va.; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, H. John Creasey of Texas.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Prospect Congregational Church, Prospect, at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect, is in charge of the arrangements.

Beth asked that donations be made to the cat rescue organization, Mellow Strays, 18 Clark Hill Road, Prospect 06712.
