Naugatuck, CT Carolyn Mae (Adams) Obar, 81, wife of Isidore Bisaillon, died June 14, 2024 at her home.

Carolyn was born February 28, 1943 in Bangor, Maine a daughter of the late Omar and Shirley (Pullen) Adams and was raised in Levant, Maine. Carolyn retired in 2006 after working for 30 years as a MRW 3 at Southbury Training School. Carolyn loved her family; children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and she enjoyed Sunday dinners and planting her flower garden.

In addition to Isidore, her husband of 29 years, Carolyn is survived by her son, Clyde C. Obar (Caroline) of Inlet, NY; daughters, Cynthia Obar Halloran (Richard) of Prospect, CT and Donna Obar Wilde (Timothy) of Plymouth, CT; her step daughter, Celine Bisaillon Pelletier (Bruce) of Waterbury, CT; her step son, Scott Bisaillon (Heather) of Wolcott, CT; her 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; her siblings, Abbie Taggart of Naugatuck, CT, Joyce Allard, Gana Adams and David Adams all of Levant, ME and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by her 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 10:00am at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home.
