Cheshire - Norma Wilson, 82, of Cheshire, passed away Saturday July 10, 2010 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edward S. Wilson.
Mrs. Wilson was born April 15, 1928 in New Haven the daughter of the late Joseph and Amy (Pascale) Bonaldo. She was a long time Cheshire resident before moving to Hamden a year ago.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her son, Edward J. Wilson and his wife Diane of Hamden; three grandchildren Edward A. Wilson and his wife Myla of Hamden, Brendan J. Wilson, and Joanna M. Wilson both of Hamden; and a great grandson, Edward V. Wilson. Norma was happily married for 59 years, and enjoyed traveling through Europe and the Caribbean with her husband. She especially loved her visits to the island of St. Croix. Her social life revolved around her extensive family. She was an accomplished seamstress, enjoyed working in her garden, and was an enthusiastic visitor to the Mohegan Sun Casino. Most recently, she took great pleasure in spending time with her great-grandson, Eddie.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 17, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main Street. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
