WATERBURY- Nicholas J. Cerritelli, 83, formerly of Boca Raton, FL, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 at his home. He was the husband of Shirley Cerritelli whom he was married to for 57 years.
Nicholas was born December 24, 1927 in Derby, CT and was the son of the late Nicholas E. and Anna Daddio Cerritelli.
Nicholas graduated from Mount Assumption Prep School in Plattsburgh, NY. He was an owner and partner of Lester E. Young, Inc Real Estate Agency until his retirement.
Nicholas was an avid communicate of Blessed Sacrament Church, he was three time past President of the Waterbury Board of Realtors, past Vice- President of the CT Association of Realtors, a member of the Naval Reserve, and a good mentor and friend to all who knew him.
Besides his wife Nicholas is survived by a son Robert and his wife Grace Cerritelli of Bethlehem; a daughter Diane and her husband Michael Barry; six grandchildren Lynne, Anthony, Anna, Cerritelli, and Caitlyn, Nolan, and Bryan Cleary. Nicholas was predeceased by a brother Lawrence Cerritelli and a sister Antoinette Archer.
Arrangements- A Mass of Christian Burial for Nicholas will be held 10 A.M, August 23, 2010, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 192 Robbins Street, Waterbury. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. There are no calling hours.
