CHESHIRE- Nicholas Camalich, 84, passed away Tuesday January 24, 2012 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain.
He was born January 16, 1928 son of the late Andrea and Maria (Matkovich) Camalich.
Nicholas was a veteran serving in the United States Army. He worked as a Supervisor for the New York City Housing Authority prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his loving partner Peggy Roosa; two sisters Milena Dundich of Liverno, Italy, and Marianna Camalich of Liverno, Italy; a brother in law Joe and his wife Lee Basteri of Ardsley, NY; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Nicholas was predeceased by his wife Rose (Basteri) Camalich.
Arrangements- A Memorial Service for Nicholas will be held Saturday February 4, 2012 at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire, 06410 at 11 A.M. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in Nicholas name may be made to St.Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire, 06410 or to The George Bray Cancer Center, 100 Grand Street New Britain, CT 06050.
