Kenneth Muys

Naugatuck-Kenneth Robert Muys, 56, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital Innovative Vitas Hospice, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of 37 years to Ida (Gould) Muys.

Kenneth was born in Oak Ridge, NJ of the late Robert Muys and Margaret Muys. He graduated from Oak Ridge High School in NJ and 2 years of College.

Ken formerly worked at Siemen Co. and Uniroyal Chemical Company in CT until they closed the doors as a maintenance mechanic. He had a great love for golfing, fishing, (a member of Lake Quassapaug) for many years and bowling with his son (David) and his many league friends.

Besides his wife Ida, Ken leaves behind his daughter, Tammy (Muys) Daniels and son in law Chris Daniels, a son David Muys, a precious granddaughter Annabelle Daniels, and a brother, Thomas Muys. He will also be missed by his loving aunt Helen Gioia and Uncle, Chuck Gioia and many nieces, nephews, sisters in law and their spouses and brothers in law and their spouses.

He will be missed deeply and will be in our hearts always.

Per Ken's request there will be no service. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck is in charge of the arrangements.
