Bette was born on September 25, 1923 in Cushing, Oklahoma and she had worked for many years as an accountant. Bette moved to Connecticut from Houston, Texas; living in Torrington for 4 years and for the past 5 years in Naugatuck.
Bette is survived by her nephew, Richard Morrissey and his wife, Caroline of Naugatuck. In addition to her husband and her parents, Bette was predeceased by her son, Ronald Morrissey.
Funeral services and burial will be private and there are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
