Mrs. Susan H. Mitoraj Enjoyed gardening, crafting, nature
PROSPECT - Mrs. Susan H. (Naylor) Mitoraj, age 63, of Prospect, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Edward Mitoraj.
Mrs. Mitoraj was born in Waterbury on Aug. 27, 1949, a daughter of the late Edward J. and Marion (Hall) Naylor. She was retired from the Country Manor Health Care Center in Prospect where she had worked for 27 years and was a member of the Prospect Congregational Church. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, nature, traveling, Tuesday evenings at Dunkin' Donuts and spending time with her family and friends.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Mitoraj is survived by two sisters, Nancy Rosshirt and her husband, Herman, of Bristol, and Betty Naylor and her companion, Robert MacDonald, of Prospect; two brothers, Mark Naylor and his wife, Carmel, of Southington, and Alan Naylor of Naugatuck; two stepsons, Mike Mitoraj of Texas, and Tom Mitoraj of Durham; six nieces; a nephew; and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a stepson, Edward Mitoraj Jr.
A celebration of Sue's life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Prospect Congregational Church, Center Street, Prospect. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Private committal services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect, on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
